Is it Wednesday yet?!?!??!!?

Hello Everyone... Well my surgery is Wednesday and I feel like time is moving sooooooo S L O W !!!! I am 14 days into my liquid diet and as of Wednesday I have lost 12 pounds. I saw my NUT and she was very happy with my progress so far. I am amazed that I have been able to do this liquid diet. Don't get me wrong, I still crave the taste of pizza or something, but I know that it is taste buds/head hunger because I am full from these protein shakes. My Best friend was laughing at me today because I have 3 scales in my bathroom!!!! No.... I haven't lost my mind, 2 of them were old and I was afraid were giving me wrong weights as they were not consistent. So my Sister bought me a new one, and she also bought me a 6 month membership to the Y!!!! YEAHHHHHHHH!!!!! She has been so awesome in supporting me, my mom has also... I am so blessed. I need to figure out something to do to pass the time, I worked in my Yard for 2 hours last night and that helped get my mind off the surgery. Oh well, I just keep telling myself... this time next week you will be a loser! Never thought I would be Happy to call myself a LOSER?!?!?!?!? Kathy

Hi Kathy, How exciting for you! I know how you mean about things taking forever. I have been counting down the days myself I still have 37 to go. I don't think it will ever get here. Good job on staying on the liquid fast. I hope I can stay as strong as you! I see your picture on here and You are already a truly beautiful woman. Just imagine how great you are going to look. Hi Diane... Thanks for the encouragement! I can honestly remember when I had a little over a month left... because I was throwing down EVERYDAY!!! Seriously I was eating like I had lost my mind. It is so weird how I look back now and I realize that it was all "mental" eating. Since I have been on all liquids I have learned so much already. I know that you will be able to do it, you will be suprised how full the protien will make you. I know I was! Thanks for the compliments, I am excited to see how ALL of us will look.
