First Post-op today

I went for my two week post op today. It has actually only been 10 days but close enough I guess. I stepped on the scales and........19lbs gone for good I was so excited!!! For the first time in my fat years I was told that I need to be intaking more food, I cant forget to eat. I really thought it would have been more but the dr. said he was very pleased with the weight loss. I had a hard time finding a protein that I like and can tolerate, but it seems that as soon as I did that I went from feeling tired and crappy to AWSOME I did return to work this week, worked Mon for 4 hours and thought I was dying, I did 5 hour on Wed and Thur each and it was easier. Back to full time on Monday Im sure I will be fine. Hugs, Stacy

Hi Stacy, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! It must feel awesome to have the surgery done and on your way to loserville. I hope you can keep up with your protein... And good luck going back to work full time. YAHHH for Stacy!! How awesome is that? I can't believe you are going to work already... wow... be sure not to push yourself. My surgeon is taking me off work for six weeks. Without being too nosey, was your surgeon "ok" with you going back so soon? I feel like a wimp knowing I'll be off six weeks... AWESOME FOR YOU on your loss! He told me I could return as soon as I wanted to. He said he was certain I wouldnt need to be off more then 2-3 weeks but it was my choice. Stacy p.s.........if mine would have been paid i probably would have went for the full 6 weeks , but i just started with this company in jan. so i actually had no time coming and was just greatful that he was willing to give me the time off for surgery.
