Sore Throat!

Sorry if this is gross... but I really need an opinion here. I woke up this morning with a very sore throat as well as coughed up some "yuckies" in the shower. I called my PCP's office today and made an appointment to see him tomorrow afternoon. I now have a headache... GRRR If I have a sore throat and he gives me antibiotics tomorrow... will they post-pone my surgery, which is now scheduled for June 19th? I am praying for this to be a fluke. I have been pumping myself with Vitamin C and started taking my multi-vitamins and calcium supplements... I figure that can only help. Pray that this is only seasonal allergy related crap! I don't want to get sick... could this be my final anxiety working itself out of my body? Brandee

Brandee I ended up with a sinus infection 2 weeks before my surgery date. When I told my Dr. he just said as long as your on the antibiotics for the full 10 days you will be fine, unless it got worse. Since you heading straight to the DR. I think you will probably be okay. Hope that helps Stacy

Hi Stacy! Sorry I did not reply yesterday. I took some meds and hit the hay early. I saw my PCP today and I do have the nice start of a sinus infection but apparently taking it easy last night helped. My PCP gave me some antibiotics and said I'd be good to go by the weekend, within plenty of time for my WLS on the 19th. Thank you for answered prayers!! Brandee
