Wonderwomen outfit still doesnt fit!!

6 Days Post-op today, and I attempted my first day back to work what was I thinking. I have a desk job and it is pretty much a low stress easy day. But after a 4 hour shift today I felt like I was going to collapse. Things hurt that I didnt even know could hurt after I got home today. My tummy has been upset all day. I think I am going to give my wonderwomen outfit back to the store and just take the rest of the week off so that I know I'm ready to go back next week. I really thought a week off would be sufficient, but I guess for me it just wasnt Until Later Stacy oh btw....i just couldnt take it any longer so i stopped into my PCP today and jumped on the scale, I am down 16 pounds. I was so excited! I knew that i probably had lost some water weight, because for the first time in a very long time i have toes instead of little smokie links for toes

Uh, take it slow girl. SMALL MOVES...BABY STEPS....DON'T RUSH THINGS!!!!!!!!!!!! and my wonderwoman outfit doesn't fit either.......well, the one I want to fit into doesn't..but it will when I get my TT....and the sagging oobs job (yes I left a B off the front of that word!!!) I took 2 weeks off work, went back part time 3 weeks out, and 4th week was full time. I have a sit down job also....but I had to watch my lifting. Huggies Stacy!!!!!!!!!

Stacy, thought you were going to wait til today? i am glad to hear that you are taking the rest of the week off, that is a good idea.Even though you are felling good, it is really easy to overdo it, take it easy while you can, congrats on the loss, cant wait til next week. teri

Fabulous progress Stacy. No reason to push yourself with the work to soon, you do need some extra rest still !!! We had our surgery the same day, I was 2 doors down. Glad you are doing good. Me too. I am retired so don't have to worry about the work thing, lucky me. Great weight loss, I think I have lost only about 4 lbs since my surgery, but it will roll off soon! Take it easy, and enjoy the ride. I am so thrilled that I had this opportunity, we are lucky girls!! Linda Foley

Wow Stacy.... take it easy on yourself!! If you can take the time off, you should do so to allow yourself to heal and rest... and perhaps enjoy the nice weather we have been having lately! Sounds to me like you don't need a Wonder Woman outfit at all... you are pretty amazing just how you are! Brandee

I pushed myself after my lipectomy and that was a huge mistake. You may feel the time is right in the head but the body will rebel. Cut it out and lie down. kp
