Hi Phyllis, Can you have sugar free jello or pudding? It might help to get you thru. I am so glad I didn't have to go thru that. The 2days I had to do it was enough for me. I do know many that have had to do it and they did fine and I know you will to. If you need to talk just give me a call. You have my number. Just try to keep your mind on the goal. After the 3rd day I hear that it gets easier so hopefully you will find that too. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers that this will get easier for you. Just try to keep your eye on the goal. God Bless---Toni

Keep busy!!!! Try to do all the things you need done before surgery, like get things organized in your cupboards and make things easy to reach. After surgery things in upper cupboards are hard to get. Clean up and make things less depressing, put flowers out do what you can to keep your mind off food and keep thinking about how much different your life is going to be. Wendy

Hi Phyllis: Hey, I know where you are coming from and Toni is right, it gets better by the third day. I wrote you an e-mail and hope that helps. When I felt really bad, I gave it up for the day and went to bed. It does help to keep really busy, like Wendy said, too. Hope today you are feeling better. Try to stretch the points out so that you have something toward the end of the day when things seem to be worse. I would try to keep a 1/2 of a bar, for instance, so that I had something solid. Yes, eat the jello and sugar free popsicles around, they help A LOT! At least to get something in that growling BEAST! Love, Pam
