3. Have you heard a quote that has inspired you lately?

I have two:
'ALWAYS SMILE WHEN YOU ENTER A ROOM DEAR. IT RELAXES OTHERS AND, IT LIFTS THE FEATURES OF THE FACE'.....(spoken by Anne Bancroft in Point of No Return with Bridget Fonda)..........also: 'TIME MARCHES ON AND EVENTUALLY YOU REALIZE IT'S MARCHING ACROSS YOUR FACE'....(spoken by Dolly Parton in Steel Magnolias)

I am able to shop in regular stores for regular sized clothes and in the same departments as many of my friends now.
5. Do you have a favorite restaurant that seems to cater well to our changed appetites?
Applebees....and TGI Fridays. I love both, but frequent them rarely as A-we don't have a TGI Friday's here in Mount Pleasant, and B-I don't go out to eat much.
There is a place in Mount Pleasant -- Los Palaminos. On Pickard. If you are ever in this town-- IT IS TRUE AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD, and reasonably priced, and I know they are authentic simply because my Mom travels to Mazatlan Mexico frequently, and knows the Mexican Food, I took her there and SHE WAS IMPRESSED, and the owner is from Puerta Villarta. Good stuff!!!
PS: HEY JILL HOPE YOU'RE GOOD

1. KP touched on this subject this past week, but what is your favorite song of all time?
How can anyone choose just one? Let's see theres Crosby, Stills Nash & Young's "OHIO" "Tin soldiers and Nixon coming, we're finally on our own, this Summer I hear the drumming four dead in ohio~Remember Allison, Bill, Jeff, & Sandy~. How about "For What it's Worth" by Stephen Stills of the Buffalo Springfield, Goes something like this~ Paranoia strikes deep, into your life it will creep, It starts when you're always afraid. You step out of line the man come take you away... I think it's time we stop, children, whats that sound, everybody look whats going down...How 'bout some old Beatles songs like, Lucy in the sky with diamonds, Let it Be, Hey Jude, Come together, Strawberry fields forever, Revolution. We can't forget~ Spirit in the sky, smiling faces, one tin soldier, help me make it through the night, In the Summertime, Ride captin ride, Love grows where Rosemary goes, As the years go by, Mississippi queen, Dancing in the moonlight, how Long, Hot child in the city, House of the rising sun, Boys are back in town, and how about the stuff like "shaving cream". We have musical greats like Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Keith Richards, There are so many. I just can't choose a favorite, I tried really I did.
2. Who has been your greatest support in your weight loss journey?
I have had so much support from so many people, that's its hard to say. Other than my kids, I have to say my #1 support has been from my medical team, and their support groups, both their on-line and in person groups.
3. Have you heard a quote that has inspired you lately?
Yes I love this~
"Go to bed each night a little wiser then you were, when you woke up that morning"
Robert Rushing
4. Other than the very obvious weight loss, what one thing has changed about you the most in the last year?
My entire outlook on life. I used to lay in bed or on the couch wishing life would just end for me. Sucide was a constant thought. Now I love life, and I don't want for each day to come to an end, let alone my life. I am alive and living life & I want to stay this way. 'Cause life is good!
5. Do you have a favorite restaurant that seems to cater well to our changed appetites?
I haven't found a restaurant that I find to be really good since surgery. I will be looking at what every one else say's about his one.
These are great questions Jill. Thank you.
God bless,
Annette
