Anyone have Dr. Kole?

I was just wondering if anyone here has used Dr. Kole at Cori? I know I had said that I had decided against Cori, but so far compared to everyone else on the phone and with all they are helping with to figure out my insurance, Cori is in the #1 spot. They have given me the most information and have been the most helpful. I got my paperwork from them in the mail and I now know that the doctor that I will be working with (should I choose them) will be Dr. Kole. I am thinking of calling them next week to set up a consult appointment. I will be having my knee surgery on the 21st, so I don't know if the consult will be before that, if not then I will have to schedule it for a few weeks after that. I think the consult will give me a chance to know the doctor that I will be working with and meet more of the staff than the seminar offered. Even though I was not impressed at the seminar, that should not be the tell all for if I choose them. Please no horror stories or bad comments about Cori, here or to my email. I only want patient personal experiences with Dr. Kole. I have heard the horror stories and I am sure every facility has them, I just need to choose the best for me. You know what Shawn, he also works out of Real Weight Loss Solutions, with Dr. Schuhknecht. It's a better bet. 586-276-8130. It's in Warren on Van Dyke near 13 mile. They both are great docs!

Hi Shawn. I had Doctor Kole as my surgeon. I asked him tons of questons. He has never lost a patient on the table and only one patient has died from complications, which from what I understood, had to do with going to McDonalds immediately after release from the hospital. He is extremely professional. I personally had no problems with cori prior to surgery and had a good experience at Harper as well. Cori has only been hard for appointments after the fact, but you can do after care somewhere else. I would easily go with Dr. Kole again - I had surgery at 7 am on Tuesday Feb 7th and was home by 6pm wed the 8th. He did a great job and I have had no complications whatsoever since. My suggestion would be to meet him and any other potential surgeon and then go with your gut feeling. Kim A.

Doctor Kole took care of my complication after surgery. He was very professional and an all around great guy. He is top shelf in my book. Everything he told me was corrrect and true. He is a great surgeon. Real Weight Loss Solutions is a viable alternative. As for CORI I really had no problems but things have changed alot since I was there. Good luck with your journey. Paul

hi i had my surgery with dr.kole and the cori center. dr. kole is the best. i have no complacations and would do it all over agin, my surgery was in dec 05 and to date im almost at the 100 lb mark..i also have 3 personal friends who alos have had dr. kole and they say the same thing about him good luck with your journey!!!

I have had 2 friends who have had Surgery done by Dr. Kole. Both are 2 years out and doing great. I had surgery with Dr. Wood in April. I also have had no problems with Cori Center. Went for doctors appointment yesterday in at 11am out before noon. Sometimes the wait has been longer, but I have sat at my primary doc's office waiting also. Good luck to you.
