I haven't seen Stacy post this lately so here's mine: 1.) Are you cold, warm, or hot in this weather?? 2.) Is your secret pal the BEST or what? 3.) It's 85 degrees, 100% sunshine, no work today... what do you do with your day? 4.) Give us an ice cool protein drink for the summer. 5.) What would/did you get for your child when they graduated from high school? ************************************************************* These are kind of strange this week, just things that are on my mind. 1.) Are you cold, warm, or hot in this weather?? Believe it or not - I'm very much still FREEZING!!!! Why do restaurants and stores turn the AC on so darn cold!!! When I'm outside I'm pretty warm now. I even wore shorts yesterday (oh was that an ungly site) 2.) Is your secret pal the BEST or what? My secret pal is the BEST, and I tell her that all the time!!! She's emailed me from the very beginning. We talk back and forth almost daily! And when I was in the hospital, she even called me just about every day! (disguising her voice I'm sure) Secret Pal - You totally ROCK and I can't wait for the reveal so we can get together for REAL!!! 3.) It's 85 degrees, 100% sunshine, no work today... what do you do with your day? No brainer for me and my family - we spend the day at the beach!!!! 4.) Give us an ice cool protein drink for the summer. I don't have any - that's why I'm asking!! LOL I've been doing hot choc with protein added all winter, but I don't like to drink hot stuff when it's warm out. 5.) What would/did you get for your child when they graduated from high school? I don't know this one either!!!! We're giving her an open house (this Saturday) but I don't have a clue as to what to get her... thinking maybe just cold hard cash - but how much???

Depends on how hot it is outside, use to, in 70 degree weather,l'd be sweltering and miserable, I have learned now I can tolerate 90's without a drop of sweat. 2.) Go out to HopeWell Ranch ride Horses, groom horses, play with the goats and truly make my life worthwhile out there!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it so much!!! 4.) Give us an ice cool protein drink for the summer. Yuck. I don't do liquid protein!!! 5.) What would/did you get for your child when they graduated from high school? I don't have any children..... But my nephew is graduating and attending MSU this fall to enter the EMERGENY CARDIAC SURGEON PROGRAM..........dude he is SO Smart.........SO I got him a gift card to Best Buy for 50.00.

.) Are you cold, warm, or hot in this weather?? Depends... I was warm not hot, just warm in the 100 degree sun this weekend, but I'm still cold at night when I sleep. Anything under 70 seems cool to me... 2.) Is your secret pal the BEST or what? My SP ROCKS! I got an card everyday for a week leading up to my birthday. She ALWAYS makes me feel so SPECIAL... but then again I am special! 3.) It's 85 degrees, 100% sunshine, no work today... what do you do with your day? One word..... POOL 4.) Give us an ice cool protein drink for the summer. I'm an AchivOne Mocha Java girl since day one. 5.) What would/did you get for your child when they graduated from high school? OK you will all make fun of my snobby family now but.... When a girl graduates High School in my family they get a string of pearls. The boys ge****ches.. I think my brothers got TAG watches.

1) In this warm weather I am awfully HOT! Oh, wait, you didn't ask how I looked LOL! 2) My secret pal sends me some really awesome stuff from partylite each month so I guess she is trying to keep my world lit up! 3) I'm out by the pool as soon as the housework is done! 4) I make smoothies and add in the protein powder. I use fresh fruit and yogurt for a base so it all depends on what is in the house that day. 5) We have already had 5 kids graduate from high school and have 4 more to go. Our kids have always done very well in high school and earned scholarships to go on to college so we have given each of them their own laptop computers as they graduated. And of course, there was always the open house parties too. (I know, some may think we spoil our kids, but we think that for all the work they did to maintain those high GPAs they deserve it)

1. Are you cold, warm, or hot in this weather?? I am miserably hot. I love winter. You can always add more clothes. In the summer TRUST ME you don't want to see me taken clothes off to cool off. Isn't winter GREAT!!! LOL 2.) Is your secret pal the BEST or what? I don't have a secret pal and don't know how to get one or be one. I would love to more about that. I read all the time about secret pals on here and have to admit I'm a little envious. 3.) It's 85 degrees, 100% sunshine, no work today... what do you do with your day? Lay miserably in front of the fan LOL I don't like sun I am so pale I burn too easy. 4.) Give us an ice cool protein drink for the summer. Well, you could make a pitcher of ice tea and add non flavored protein. Or use sugar free ice cream and add some chocolate protein powder. That is pretty good. 5.) What would/did you get for your child when they graduated from high school? Our eldest is graduating on Sunday and I am giving her a party of course and I bought her a very expensive white gold cross necklace. Faith is something that means something to my familyso I want her to have a symbol of that to take with her when she is in the Air Force.

I just recently heard from my secret pal for the first time since February!! I am hoping that things are okay with her..... I think of her often! 3.) What would/did you get for your child when they graduated from high school? I got my car isnsurance paid for a year!!! I went away to school and they wanted me to concentrate on my school work instead of my bills!!! These days... it's hard to say what to get a kid!!!

Hate to say it, but I haven't heard from mine since March, nothing while I was in the hospital, nothing for my birthday and well nothing in May , I haven't heard if my secret pal has actually got her gifts ( is it really so hard to drop a thank you in the mail if your computer is down????) sorry I will get off my soap box now...steps down....thank you. 3.) Give us an ice cool protein drink for the summer. I love starbucks iced latte, soooo I take some beneprotein and add it in, with all that milk and added 20 grams....yummy. 5.) What would/did you get for your child when they graduated from high school? We gave both of our kids cars wooohoo!!! But then again we didn't have to pay for college for either of them, one decided to live his dream and is touring with a rock band across the US, our daughter was valedictorian and got a full ride to Wayne State. We gave my son some starter cash so he could move out!!!! and my daughter wanted a party so we did that for her. Heck we wonder if she will ever leave home, she is getting married and still going to live with us. We give money for friends or relatives and when they graduate from college they ge****erford Crystal clocks for their new work place, that has worked out well for all but the elementary school teacher

1.) Are you cold, warm, or hot in this weather?? Depends, I freeze in A/C. But basically I am MUCH more comfortable now, than I was last summer. 2.) Is your secret pal the BEST or what? I don't participate in the secret pal program. 3.) It's 85 degrees, 100% sunshine, no work today... what do you do with your day? Well, I'm a teacher, so I hope to have many of those days, very soon. I either lounge on my deck around the pool or spend the day on the lake in our boat. 4.) Give us an ice cool protein drink for the summer. I don't do too many protein drinks, but one that got me through those early months is as follows: 1/2 cup milk 1 scoop of vanilla powder (I use soy powder.) 5 or 6 frozen strawberries 1/2 a banana I put all of this in a blender and blend really well. Makes a little over 8 oz and is very good. 5.) What would/did you get for your child when they graduated from high school? I don't have any children, but when my niece graduated, I bought her a new computer. My second niece graduates this weekend and she just got a new laptop for Christmas, so I'm not sure what I'll be doing for her. Probably just cash.

Both 2.I would love a secret pale but dont have time to go there (busy) big time would love to though. 3. worked 11 hours today (beat) 4.sorry but I have to say vodka and cranberry (you dont know what Im going through) 5.My last daughter that graduated we through a great big party with a live band and bought her a cheap car to get her around. She loved it more than anything. If it wasnt for her stupid boyfriend she would still have her suberband.( Iam Losing It) Sorry, My brother is terminaly ill Iv been back in forth at toledo hospital for days, I dont know what to do next. Im didnt want to trouble any of my wls friends because you all have enough to go through. Let me tell you my brother is only 41 and has had brain cancer since he was 18 they have done every surgery imaginary, And Im verry verry happy that I have had the chance to have spend the last 20 years with him. He is the most amazing brother that anyone can imange. (I love him so much! ) Please pray that he gets better. He has had so many surgerys that anyone of us would be pissed (excuss the french) But not him he is the most happy person Iv ever know In my life even when he dont feel good. He tells the nurses "Thank you so much " when they clean up after him. He Is a true Angel in my book. "Larry I love You Big Brother" Hang on you are so strong you inspire me. Larrry is at Toledo Hospital please send a prayer for him as really trully derserves the best. Thank you. Claudia
