Feeling Bad About Secret Pals

I havent been able to send out my secret pal thing yet this month due to some very valid and serious extenuiating cir****tances. i was wondering would it be bad for me to re-gift something from the person that sent something to me(not that i dont like it i loved it, its just that i am running out of options) or to maybe send an IOU(but thats a little tacky to me) any suggestions would be very helpful

heeey now--lol seriously though i was in the bin this weekend, and well it wasnt THAT bad, no rubber rooms, but they did have semi round rooms for solitary, that i saw as i walked by them. heehee

My feeling about the secret pal thing has been the thought that you put into it about the person that you are gifting. I don't believe that you have to go out and spend a fortune to blow someone away. I strongly believe that the whole idea was to make someone feel special and cared for. That being said, I think that simply by sending e-cards during the month to let them know you are thinking about them can go a very long way. As far as the gifts, if you are crafty, you can make them something very nice with things that you already may have around your house. I personally have had 3 different secret pals this round because of people dropping out or not participating so it has been a strange year for me. One thing I would like to say is that if you are playing the game, please take the time to acknowledge that you are receiving your gifts so the sender knows that you are and communicate with your pal through ecards (WHICH ARE FREE) Just my opinion Tracy
