Baked Bean recipe
I'm not a big fan of baked beans except for my grand mothers. The only thing about grandma's baked beans is that she uses alot of sugar. She offered to make me my own seperate plate of beans for the holiday if I could give her another recipe. So if anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate it.

"This recipe keeps it sweet and simple. Baked beans, bacon and brown sugar are all you'll need to make this favorite side dish."
INGREDIENTS:
1 (28 ounce) can baked beans
1/2 pound bacon, cut into small pieces
8 ounces brown sugar made by splenda!!!
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
2. Pour beans into a 2 quart casserole dish.
3. Place bacon in a 9 inch skillet, completely covering bottom of pan. Spread brown sugar over bacon and cook on medium heat. When bacon grease starts to bubble up through the sugar, transfer to the casserole dish and mix with beans.
4. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes.
unless you read the labels you can mistake it for Splenda in a brown sugar format which it is not. it's half splenda and half regular brown sugar so if you dump, are diabetic or avoid sugar, it's not an appropriate product.
It is half the sugar of regular brown sugar though so if you're looking for "low sugar" alternatives, it's a good one.

modify the sugars from regular brown to splenda brown.
I use this website all the time ...
hope it works, and yes, I've done this recipe many times and it's great!
You know those famous baked beans.....Bush's? I eat those right out of the can.
Room temperature. Sounds sick but I dont like them cold and I dont like them hot.
They don't bother me, cuz I buy the teeny cans and drain the juice and eat them with my dinner.
Hope you enjoy your day and meal! YAY! Glad to be of help to you!
