Obesity friendly doctor near downriver area.

Hello all, I was wonder if anyone downriver knew of an understanding doctor in the downriver area, my family doctor is located in Detroit and I wanted to find a new doctor closer to where I live now. I didnt want to have to go through all the gawking from a new doctor and staff, also i've called the Cori Center and they want me to have an GI and EGD does anyone know of a doctor that accepts medcaid in the downriver area that can perform these 2 test. I am not sure but you can try my surgeon. Dr. Hendrick and his number is 734-285-7420. He is located in Wyandotte and he is very helpful. He used to be with Cori and left for personal reasons. His new office is great, the staff is very caring and understanding and they have group support meetings once a month. Suzanne
