Dentist experience overwith!

Hi fellow losers: Happy Memorial Day weekend to start things off, hope you all have a marvelous weekend and drive careful. Well Friday at 8am I woke up nervous about my dental appointment that was to occur at 1115am. It went ok. I've had worse....I was prescribed some nice meds to take prior to the appointment but they didn't seem to do much good.....took my MP3 player and listened to music and just tried to deep breath and be calm. Several times I could feel it -told the dentist with a signal we made and now, it's overwith. I am taking Tylenol 3 with codeine elixir for pain and on antibiotics for 8 days- ok'd by my WLS surgeon. (I always check before taking ANY meds if it's ok). Still can't chew on my right side so am doing fair on the left. My next appointment---will be a few months out as it's gonna cost me over 1 grand (YIKES) to get the work done just on the one side of my mouth. Thanks for all your well wishes and happy vibes and thoughts yesterday. I survived......and ended up sleeping most of the afternoon when I got back home.

Hi Stacey; I read your post, in about 2 weeks I'am planing on getting some major dental work done, a crown prep on a large tooth. Before I use to take motrin, in case of swelling, I know we cannot now, Did the Tylenon three with codeine help? Whats the elixir for? Yvonne
