left uncomfortable??

I received a personnal email from a male member. Stating that he was single and his interests left me uncomfortable. Is this common or am I reading too much into it? I am happily married. I want to make friends here, but my gut tells me this is too wierd. Any comments? Thanks

Ugh, I would follow what your heart tells you. Tell him you are married, happily too! Tell him friendship is all there is possible room for. Period. Make your statement clear, concise, and without going on and on and on. Speak the truth and it shall heal itself. I promise.

I have been on here for a few years and have heard of such happening on a few of the other websites, but never on the MI board. If your gut tells you that the encounter wasn't okay then just don't respond at all not even for friendship. That being said you may want to rethink your choice to use your full name or post your city on your profile, because just like with MySpace there are wierdo's in Adult Land too. Take Care!!!
