Not Impressed!

I am home from my seminar. First let me say that they said registration was at 6 pm and it started at 7. We got there around 6:20 and they were well into the seminar (we were not the only ones there late either). He stubbled through the presentation and could never give out solid number statistics. All he would say is that their rate was "low". For everything. I am sorry. I want numbers. But, I have more seminars to go to, but for me CORI is definitely O-U-T!!!! I know many of you like them, but there is no way I would trust them with my life from what I saw. JMO. Just thought I would share with you all how it went. Thanks for listening. Shawn 289

I have heard alot of negative things about CORi as well. I have never had an experience with them myself. I am going through Barix Clinic with my Seminar i was extremly impressed. He told you like it was and didn't hold any punches.

I was a CORI patient. I also had issues with time when I went there. It was like my time was not important. Sometimes I would have to wait a couple of hours to see a dr. My dr has left Cori. I used Dr. Hendrick. He is in Wyandotte and his number is 734-285-7420. He is a very solid surgeon and knows his statistics. I highly recommend him. He has information meetings. You can look him up here on Obesity Help and his stats are listed, and the dates of the informational meetings. Also I had my gall bladder out at Henry Ford Wyandotte and the hospital and staff far exceeded my expectations. If you have any other questions please feel free to email me. Suzanne 300/150

Well I truely hope you find the "center" for you. There are enough choices out there that I am sure you will. Jennifer, I will agree with you that I had pretty much ruled them out, but I was still keeping them in the running until I met with people and went to the seminar. The main reason for initially pretty much deciding I was going to use them was because my insurance won't pay through them, but the seminar chiched that. Yes, I have decided where I am going. I am 99% sure that I am going to use Hurley Medical Center in Flint. Research, statistics and backgrounds along with the fact that they take my insurance is what made up my mind. Plus to two women I have been dealing with on the phone have been phenomenal with my complex insurance situation. Thanks for the luck and I hope to soon be on the loosing side of this journey.
