Protein hint for protein haters

I HATED my protein drinks. I started the Unjury protein and found it was pretty good, but recently I ordered their chocolate flavor and decided to add it to my morning coffee! (Yes, I drink one cup of coffee in the morning-surgeon approved! LOL!) I suppose you could just use ho****er and a little milk or something, but OH MY GOSH!!! It is just like the best hot cocoa in the world! I love it! It mixes up so smooth and it is sooooo gooooood! Now remember if the coffee is too hot, it will ball up and be lumpy. It has to be kind of hot-warm. Just an idea for anyone else who has a hard time choking it down. Also decaf coffee in the afternoon for another serving helps me get my whole days worth of protein supplements in! I know the "I hate the protein drinks" really well. So well in fact, I don't touch them at all. Nope. I don't do liquid protein. Although, I admit, I have 2 bottles of ISOPURE Green Apple in case of rare instance I gotta go out of town or something and need it. But I have not yet. I do Power Crunch Chocolate Peanut Butter bars 2 a day (13 grams per bar) plus I eat about 1 cup of Back to Nature high protein cereal (13 grams per half cup) and I use skim milk so there's 40 grams right there, and I probably can eat 20 grams, if I'm low I just eat another protein bar- the South beach diet Meal Replacement bars with 19 grams of protein. I can't drink stuff....I need water, tea, sugar free koolaid and no dairy. I even tried the Syntax nectar and could do about 2 tablespoons and it was too sweet for me. So I believe if you work hard enough you can find things that work for you at the present time. Down the road, I'll probably get sick of protein bars....who knows? Since January I've been doing Power Crunch and my protein levels at check up for labs in Feb 06 were great.

Oh my gosh, Wendy! I just read your profile (it's been a while) and I can SOOOOOO relate to how you are feeling about yourself. Me too! ~ There are many days I just feel like a big blob! But I see you are still losing ... that's great! I've been stalled for a month, and it was like a two month stall before that. It's like my body is hanging on to every fat cell for dear life! At least I finally made the century club. Just wanted to say hey ... Diane
