Hi im not from here but i am trying to get there
Jenn and i have lived in Texas for going on 6+ years Now i am from here but she is from Boyne city. We hope to relocate there on her Dads 40 acre property would like to get to know some people in the area. so that when we get there we already will have a new circle of friends to meet and hang out with. we are having WLS on July the third of this year. Most of jenns family is either no longer with us or lives quite a distance away except for her dad and a couple of Aunts and Uncles. so if there are anyone that would like to penpal for now we would love to hear from ya Thanks

Yes we have found a great place to have it done in Galveston Texas. the doctors have been great and the center has as well. it is a one stop shop I have only had to go out side to get the phych test done all else is done in house. It would be perfect except that my parents are dead set against the wife and i having the surgery especially at the same time. but im sorry my mind is made up they will have to get over it. If something goes wrong i will never live it down but at this point my give a damn is broke. Im tired of being Fat.and the wife is a RN and she is getting to heavy to do her job well plus i am afraid we are both gonna have a stroke. HI there! We were going to move from Michigan to Texas about 2 years ago, but we could not get our house to sell so we are still here. But my ex and his wife moved down there without us (yes we were all going to move together). So needless to say my 15 year old goes to school down there and I miss him terribly. We let him decide where he wanted to go to school at. They live in Saginaw (that is in Texas, not Michigan... lol). I am going to heading down there in July to see him. Normally he comes back here in the summer, but his football coach wants him to do a summer program, since he plays so well, they want to really fine tune him so he will get scouted by a college (they are already sure he will, but this will help). So since he will be doing that all summer I won't get to see him unless I go down there. So I wil be in your neck of the woods soon. Good Luck with yours and your wifes WLS. I hope to be on the loosing side soon too, but I am taking it slow because I want to make sure I find the right doctor for me. Good Luck on your move also.

Welcome to Michigan I live in Traverse city which is about a hour south west of Boyne city. I am about two years post op and having a revision surgery in the next couple of months. I think is awesome that you and your wife are having surgery at the same time. I know of a couple of people who've done that and they all say that it works out great!!

I love El Toro as well i grew up eating there I like dj's but i have found Brians in clute man is it good. I will do my last meal i think at Brians but then again mexican sounds good too
May have to do both I hope to be comming your way in july of next year but Who knows maybe even sooner I will miss the surf fishing. John
