What are you eating today?

Just curious what you are eating today for your meals? Me? Breakfast: 1 cup (over time) high protein (15 gm per serving of 1/2 cup!) Back to Nature cereal with 1/2 cup skim milk added a handful of slivered almonds and a heaping spoonful raisins 10 ounces of coffee with splenda and ff cream Lunch: about a cup's worth of a chicken caesar salad, probably 10 grams protein cherry tomatoes, low fat caesar dressing, shredded parmesan cheese, finely chopped romaine lettuce ( I can't eat big leaves just yet) and croutons one slice home made sugar free fat free cinnmon bread 3 gms protein due to the eggs in the batter! 12 ounces ice water dinner: going out most likely will be a bean and meat stuffed burrito covered with a hot sauce (mmmmmmmm) sour cream (mmmmmm) and beans on the side, no chips, and probably water to drink if anything. I usually can eat 1/8 of the burrito it's so large, and about 1/2 the beans snack: power crunch protein bar and some cantelope cubes late snack: cheese stick and two slices turkey breast

Breakfast: 6 oz. Lite, fat free yogurt and 1/2 C. peaches packed in water Lunch: The top (steak, cheese, tomatoes, onions) of a Southwestern Steak Bowl. Dinner: Probably 1 C homemade chili or some leftover fajita meat/cheese and salsa and sour cream. Water all day. Leeanne

I'm eattin' strange lateley, don't know why but here it is. B - oatmeal S - protein drink L - cup of chili &whole wheat toast S - sf dilly bar from DQ (my first one since surgery - it was good) S - protein bar D - ???? since the kids are eating hot dogs (barf) I'll probably just have oatmeal again. Told you it was a weird food day. But I'm getting in enough protein and so I'm good. Been holding my weight again (I dropped a couple pounds after tt) so that's good. Hugs, Laurie

you guys are driving me nuts, i love mexican food. Actually i've been on a mexican kick for the last two months!! Anyway chocolate mint protein drink with 8 ounces of skim milk 1 tangerine 1 bbq rib 1 slice of watermelon yummmmmmmm 1 4 ounce hamburger patty with a-1 sauce to dip it in 60 ounces of water so far all my vitamins (thank you kp for telling me about the chelated vitamins, they so rock) for dinner will have curry chicken soup yummmmmmmmmmmy again and i'm sure more water or sf koolaid or something like that anyone wanna bring me some mexican food? hehe Hugs Linda

lol i have an ulcer too, it's from when i was on very high doses of steroids right after surgery, but the prevacid i take is good. I buy the dymatize elite chocolate mint protein and mix it with skim milk....it is so yummy, i've been addicted to it since about 6 mos post op. It really tastes like a girl scout cookie, and everyone i've had taste it was surprised to know it was protein. I'll bring you a sample next time i see you, i know you'll like it. Anyway i buy a 5 pound bottle of it for 26 bucks at absolutesupplements.com. I've seen it a lot of places over 50, so i know it's worth it. with 8 ounces of skim milk it has like 32 g of protein, Hugs Linda
