SUPPORT GROUP

I found a support group meeting this coming saturday at 11 am in Saginaw at St Mary's of Michigan Health Education Center, 800 S. Washington. It is for people that have had or who are considering bariatric surgery. I am going to check it out...anyone else?? Judy

Judy... I can't make it this comming Saturday, but I would love to try and go another time. If you find it a helpful group PLEASE let me know and maybe next meeting we can met up together. Thanks for the info..... Erin

Will do Erin...this will be my first trip to a support group for WLS...I haven't had my WLS yet but I am going to get a head start on my support group....I am really excited to be getting closer to having a date and being a loser!! Hugs Judy

Judy, do they normally meet on Saturdays? My hometown has a group through Memorial Hospital and Hurley (where I'll have surgery) has a group as well. I have not went to one yet... still shopping around. We'll be out of town this weekend visiting my sister and her family, but I am interested in hearing how the meeting was. Hi Brandee I am not sure when they meet all the time...this is the first one that I looked for in the local news paper. I am still waiting to have the WLS but thought I would get a jump start on a support group. I will be more than happy to let you know how it went and when they meet again.
