It's still working!
Hi Everyone
I cannot believe it. When Dr. Webber gave me my goal weight he said it would be impossible to lose more than half of my body weight. I was at 360 pounds the day of surgery, so my goal weight was 180 pounds. So two months ago i was at 168 (which i was happy with) and went back to basics after learning that i can dump. I was there for two months thinking this is where i will stay. I was fine with that since i know i have about 20 pounds of skin to get rid of and i am very big boned. So this morning i get on the scale ane i'm at 164!!! wooooo hoooo i cannot believe it! 21 months and this tool is still working, it just amazes me. I wish i had a camera to update my pic on here, this one is from last july and really don't look like me anymore.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!
Hugs

I am happy to hear that you are have lost more weight that is fanstastic. This surgery is the best tool ever. I have been down 80lbs for two weeks and its my own fault. I have not lost any more I have been so depressed I can not find a job to save my life. With my phsyical handicapps I can not do any job thats not a sit down job. So its real hard right now. I am so happy that after everything you went through to get the surgery that it is still creating weight loss for you. I have not been on oh in forever cause I have been so down. How is work for you? Any thing new email me I would love to hear from you.

Hi Angie,
I'm sorry you're having such a hard time finding a job. I know they are hard to find right now. My job is going good, other than the fact that my mother in law works there and bugs the hell out of me. You're right about where i was at two months out. You have to give it time for your body to catch up to the weight loss, it happens to us all. just keep your protein and water going as much as possible and it will pick up again. i am so happy to be losing again. My husband says i need to knock it off, i'm big boned and getting too skinny LOL , i've never heard that one before. I never dreamed to be even 200 , i am just so happy.

Linda......
Congratulations dear friend!!!!!!!!! Great work proving people they are wrong!!!
I would like very much to lose my extra 22 pounds left for me to hit my goal but it's getting harder and harder....I take it one day at a time. Plus, I know I have at least 10 lbs of skin hanging around that I can't work off.....wish I could just wi**** gone.
If you are ever in the central MI area....look me up, I have a digital cam and we can take lots of pics for your profile okay???
I still often look in the mirror and wonder who I am. I have one wish though.....my hair.
I noticed that its thinner than it use to be, although my protein levels are fine according to my last labs...my hairdresser suggested a treatment called Vioxin, however it isn't cheap.
I guess it's different steps for regrowing hair folicles. I saw it at WalMart Salon and it was 49.95 plus tax for a kit. But heck, I save that on food, so I'm probably going to try it.
Now that I've gone totally off topic...CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Stacey
Thank you for being so kind....i wish you lived closer!! Let me tell you this, the vioxin does NOTHING to make it stop falling out, the only thing it did for me was make it look thicker, which there are a lot of cheaper shampoos that do that. Believe it or not, when i started using finesse it stopped falling out, i dunno if it was the protein in the shampoo or what, but i do know that when my hair came back it is very curly. It's just very strange.
I wouldn't worry about the last few pounds, they will come off. It's just that the farther out you get the slower it is to lose. What jump starts my weight loss is lots of water, and it seems like when i eat more i lose more, very weird i know.
