Ok id seen people post their wow moments and thought hmm wonder when Id have one.... a little history on me.. Im 5'9", Starting weight 286.5, Surgery Date 12/16/05 Im now at 216.0 thats a total loss so far of 70.5 pounds.. that by itsself is a wow Ok so its Easter Morning, my kids (I have 3 kids- 17, 13, 11) and I were heading to the garage my two youngest were getting ready to race to the car and just as they got eady to take off I kicked off my heals and took off too and joined in on the race. Once I got to the garage I turned around and all three of my kids were just standing there, my baby said "OH MY GOSH MOMMY do you know that you were just running, I didnt think you knew how to run, cuz ive never seen you do it." I just grinned and said "well Mommies gonna be doing lots of things youve never seen her do before." anyway I surprised myself I ran it wasnt far and it wasnt a marithon but it felt wonderful... I just thought I would share... LOVE AND (((HUGS))) Dori

Hi Dori That is so cool, I can't wait to have one of those moments. That was one thing that I told my hubby that I want to do when I loose the weight (run). I just have never been able to jog or go running. Hopefully this fall or winter. 70 pounds since December is amazing I hope that I can get the same results after my surgery tomorrow. Before you know it you will be passing them up running to that car! Great Job! Sandi

Congrats on your date, tomorrow, WOW how exciting, you will do great! my good thoughts and prayers are with you... My best advise (not that you asked lol) is WALK as soon as they let you, it really makes it better, it helps to relax the gas pain and helps to get off the pain meds faster or well it did for me... please let us know asap when you get back.. I will be looking for your post... (((HUGS))) Dori
