Consult moved up!
Good news today. I was on the cancellation list for the nutritional consult on the 18th, and I got a call today that I got in, so instead of waiting for May 2nd I can get the ball rolling on Tuesday. It's really good news since all my clothes seem to be myseriously shrinking! I realized this today when I put on a pair of jeans that I hadn't worn in a few months... incredible how something in the atmospere surrounding my closet seems to have this shrinking effect on all my clothes (hehehe). Anyway.. I also got a bad haircut today, which honestly, I think when you're fat they just don't really care how you look. Alright..it was at Fantastic Sams, so I can't complain too much.. you get what you pay for, but I didn't even have my hair dryed or styled, and as I was paying on my way out the manager looks at me and says "looks really nice".. Are you kidding me? please.. I am just so ready to begin my new life and put a lot of my low self-esteem issues to rest. Looking into the mirror while she was cutting my hair was just about as much torture as I could take for the day, let alone wondering what I'm going to do for clothes if I have to wait too long for a surgery date!!
Okay..now I'm rambling.... sorry!!!

that's great that you got your date moved up, i know how ready you are to get your wls. About the haircut, if it were me and i didn't like how they cut it, i wouldn't have paid for it. you need to start getting out and walking and practice better eating habits, it will only help you to be stronger for recovery. it won't be long, you'll be sittin here on the losers bench with the rest of us. Let us know how the consult goes.

Won't be long now! And oh yes, I remember looking in the mirror during a haircut and it WAS PAINFUL...but don't worry...soon you'll sit your butt down (with room on both sides
