Radiation therapy done...good news!

Hi all...I had my whole body scan yesterday and the only residual thyroid cancer was in the neck, so they gave me the radioactive iodine therapy and I should be good to go! I'm in isolation at home for the next 3 days, and have another scan next week. I can start on the thyroid meds tomorrow, so hopefully, I'll start getting my energy back (and stop gaining weight). I'm going back to work part time on May 1 for the first 3 weeks, and then should be ready for full time again. Just wanted to fill everyone in Thanks for all the well wishes
