Can't wait! I have been thinking about this for years and seriosly planning since last summer and now it's here! I am having a really tough time with just clear liquids today though. Starting to feel low blood sugar shaky. Tempted to drink a protien shake. Impatiently waiting for this day to be over, Randi

Maybe a popsicle would help with the low blood sugar thing? Or perhaps a lifesaver candy??? I know from my Post Op experience, I have developed Hypoglycemia and have to keep a close eye on what I use to have Diabetes type 2, now I am low and must maintain at least 80 or above or I get tunnel vision, fatigued and weak and shaky. My nurse said a lifesaver candy or a popsicle (not sugar free) will bring up that sugar level. Also since you are on clear liquids, I would avoid that protein drink unless it is clear (which you can get isopure at a GNC- that is clear whey protein) I would not drink it because it could cause them to postpone your surgery!!! I wish you the best I know I was ecstatic and anxious the night before my surgery!!!!!!!!!! See you on the losing side!!! Stacey 239/164/July 19, 2005

Thanks Stacey, I was just looking at your new pic. Gorgeous! I had some juice and broth, feeling a little better but still not great. I have been known to get low sugars so I guess that is something I am going to have to watch!
