Question for HAP approvees

When you sent in your appeal and got the letter stating they received it and to give them 15 days for decision, do they mean 15 days from when they received it, or 15 days from the date of the letter? I didn't get mine today, but my g/f did and she sent hers two days ahead of me, so I figure I should get mine tomorrow or likely thursday.

I believe it was 15 business days Colleen. I know the wait is terrible...but most of the time they do answer within that time.

No, she only got the letter stating her appeal had been received and to allow 15 days for a decision. Also, the letter doesn't state business days, and my member handbook says they get 30 calendar days to complete both levels (15 for each level), so I think they do mean 15 regular days not business. But, it doesn't specify if its from date they received it or the date on the letter saying it was received. Uuuuggggghhhhhhh
