OT: GAS PRICES ARE INSANE.....

Drove 160 miles (one way) to my psych exam today in Warren. Gas prices were pretty much all over the board. Yesterday in Cadillac (90 miles RT to work - BLAH) I filled up at 2.59. Today we managed to top off our gas tank at Meijer in Auburn Hills for 2.63. Otherwise, we saw 2.94 as the highest (for regular). Most gas stations there and back however, were 2.89. Talk about an expensive psych exam!! Michelle

Well, this Sunday - Easter? My Mom will be driving down to Mount Pleasant from Presque Isle, I asked her gas prices there and she said today it was 2.50 a gallon at Wal Mart on M32. I said fill er up now because it's going up up up ....and when I told her what it was here she nearly cried! And she wants to come down here and drive to Saginaw and then to Kalamazoo and then to Grand Rapids..........WE'RE taking HER car!!!!!!!!!! Hi Stacy, Did you go to school in the Alpena area? I noticed you said your mom was from Presque Isle. I better call my parents in the morning so they can gas up at Walmart in Alpena. Here in Traverse City it is $2.79 a gallon. How ridiculous? I know my parents are bringing my dad's truck so that will even cost more. Lynn

We are hoping that the new sams club and walmart in Mt Pleasant will have gas - they are usually lower, I think.

I noticed gas was at $2.88 last night...it may have gone up since. This is really ridiculous. I wish Grand Rapids had a subway system or something!
