Guess what came in the mail today
I can't believe it. I have been approved by the state of Michigan to have my surgery. HAP has to pay for it. They no longer have any say in the matter. THE STATE HAS SPOKEN. I WON, I WON, I WON.
I am so happy I don't even know where to begin. Should I go ahead and contact Henry Ford Bariatric Clinic? Wait for acknoledgement from HAP.
I am on the way to the other side. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know that when I called HF the other day they told me that HAP has to send them the approval before they could do anything, but it may not hurt to call.
I'm so happy for you. I know it took you a long time for those words..YOU'RE APPROVED!

CONACT THE CLINIC ASAP and see about making your four hour consult. Tell them you have a letter of approval from the State.

Its 4:38 right now, They might still be there CALL NOW! Tell them you have approval papers from the state and schedule your four hour consult. try to get April 18th or May 2nd. The sooner you have the N/N consult the sooner you get your initial consult with your surgeon. I'm so happy for you tears came to my eyes! I knew you would get approved girl. Let us know when you call, what they say ok. I hope you get this real soon. I would call you and tell you to call them~but I misplaced your phone number.
