I have been getting bouts of diziness lately. Upped the protien yesterday and it seems to have helped. What's that from? O by the by...I forgot to tell you that I broke the plateau 2 weeks ago! I'm down 4 more pounds. Yeah for me! Thanks for the input, Dizzy Lizzy

Dear Dizzy, Good for the plateau break. It's cool when we get it moving again but don't rush things. I had the same problem when I was close to goal. It seems I have over corrected my blood pressure problem and was low. Many of us do that. Make sure your Dr. knows this is happening. They may order tilt table test for you and change your diet to compensate. I just put a little more salt and a lot more stress in my life and made it better. Flabby

Tilt Table?? Is that anything like a broncing bull? If so I want no part of it! What is it for real?

If you take blood pressure medicine, you might need to have the doctor adjust that. I've had two spells in the last two months there I almost passed out. I may not have to take medication at all - my bp has been 76/59, which is not good.....

I don't take any meds but the low blood pressure could be a problem. i will get that checked. Thanks.

Hi: I'm a lurker from TN. Dizziness is also a sign of dehydration. Try 20 oz of water the next time you feel it come on and let us know if it does the trick. Bye

For a tilt table test it is exactly like it sounds. You are strapped to a table and lay flat and vitals are monitored, and then they tilt the table up and you are completely vertical and vitals are taken.

Hi Michelle, If it isn't the problems that have been suggested it could also be an inner ear thing. Especially this time of the year with all of the colds and Sinus issues going on. These things can really send your equallibrium off and cause dizziness also. But as the others have said it would be a good idea to check with your pcp. Hope you feel better soon.--Toni
