Should I stay or should I go?

I recently had surgery through Hurley. Dr. Dabideen did my surgery but he has since left the practice and moved to McClaren. So, my question is, do I stay with Hurley or do I follow him to McC? I have no issues with Hurley and I only have good things to say about them. I like Dr. Dabideen and I know "IF" I ever have issues, he is "always" my surgeon. Dr. Obied assisted with my surgery, he is still with Hurley, so I know he is following my case. I was just wondering what the "norm" is for this situation.

I followed my surgeon and I am happy I did it. Nobody can fault you for that. Think about it,,,,this guy was playing in your chitlins,,,he knows you. I would stick with the one who made you a GAP. kp

Tiffany, As you know Dr. Dabideen also did my surgery, however my opinion is to stay with Hurley. Dr. Obeid was in the surgery and is familiar with you. Also the follow up at Hurley is pretty good. The other reason is the confusion and irritation is not worth the switch unless you have and issue or serious reason to leave. I personally have had nothing but good care at Hurley and the nurses and nutritionists are always available to you. Wendy

I agree, why go thru all the hassle if I never even see him, either way?? I always see Kristi (P.A.) for my visits so it's not like I am missing out on anything. Dr. Dabideen said he would always be my surgeon, should anything come up, so that is a given. No worries there. Are you coming to Meijer on Thursday night (6 p.m.) We moved the meeting over there because The Farmhouse was too smokey, expensive, ect. Tiffany

If my surgeon went somewhere else I would follow him. He know's me inside and out, and every little flaw I have. Besides he saw me naked Not to mention he's the best surgeon on the face of this planet~well at least in the Detroit area. God bless, Annette
