I have been saying for the last 12 years that I was gonna run/walk in the Crim. Needless to say, I haven't done it yet. Now that I have lost all of this weight, there is no excuse. It isn't until August 26. Four months should be long enough to train, right? I'm not saying that I will be running the 10K, but maybe the 5k. Any other takers?

Shelia - that is very tempting!! I've always thought it would be cool to be able to do something like that. Don't know if doc will let me after my tt, but I'm adding it to my list of questions for him. Laurie

Shelia I did the Crim last August an I loved it ! Like you I have been saying I was going to do it for years, I lost all my weight (130 pounds) and I did the 5k. This year I want to do the 10k. What a experience, the joy of crossing the finish line was overwhelming I just starting crying, it was one of the best things I have every did. If you want to start training for it give me a call 810-241-3322 I live in Fenton and I run around the Genesys Hospital, the trails are really nice and my thoughts are if I have a heart attack or anything I'm right there! haha Anyway I'm game! My goal was to run the whole thing without walking, I did it and my time was pretty good for my first Crim. Patty

I would be interested in running or walking the 5k. Are you planning on taking that training class that they have? I live more in the Genesee area....how far away do you live from Genesee? E-mail me: [email protected] Nan

She's my daughter, and lives near Richfield and Genesee Roads, not far from Genesee. She'll probably answer herself tomorrow. I'm interested in the Crim, but I would rather do a walk. I have always had trouble running any distance (but maybe it will be better now that I've lost some weight too).
