Hi everyone. I'm looking for a little advice. I had my surgery a year ago and I am now looking into having a tummy tuck. My daughter had a normal one and she looks really good but Cori Centers told me they do a special tummy tuck where they pull skin and fat from all different directions and it is supposedly better. I was just wondering if anyone has had this special procedure from Cori or anywhere else. Could you let me how this went? I want the goods and the bads. This is a huge decision for me and I am really having a hard time choosing which one to do. Thanks for your help.

To be perfectly honest I don't know yet if I would do it again. But I'm only 2 weeks post-op and having a lot of problems. Some of the staples came out in the first week and now I'm bleeding from there. I have a large swollen area that kinda makes me look half male. My private area is off center now and I look funny. No staples have been removed yet and I still have the two drainage tubes. And to bout now I'm running a 102.9 fever. The doctor has said that I may need a revision because of the off center problem. I had over 15 pounds taken off and I'll let you know if it's worth it later. But then it is worth it since I don't have that huge thing between my legs anymore. Good losing, Stes P.S. I kinda like the new belly button.

I had mine done October 20. It hurt like hell and was much more painfull than RNY. But I am all healed up and the swelling is gone. At that time I would say I would never do it again,,,,now I guess I would. It was worth it. CORI? kp

Sorry to do this in two posts. My computer was blinking out so I had to shut down. I see your Dr. is Dr. Kole. Great surgeon and great guy. He was in on my TT. I am surprised to hear CORI says on your post. I was under the assumption that CORI does no do TTs. They are not profitable. I do understand that Dr. Kole does them through his other office though. Obviously showing more concern for patient well being over making big bucks - That's another reason why you should stick with him. I know him outside his office setting and he cares about his people quite a bit. Not to side track but your ann. listing had me a bit puzzled. Not to say you are this person but there is an employee of a WLS office that does this sort of thing and that makes a few of us uneasy - knowing that the board is really for patients and this person is lurking around. It was the policy of the office that the employees stay off the board but this employee plays by a different set of rules. In all honesty, had my original WLS office been operated the way it is now I would not have had the surgery through them. Proper business practices are a tell-tail sign of what is to come after you are through your surgery and needing support. My surgeon has left that office and joined with Dr. Kole in a more ethical setting - 586-276-8130 is the number to that office. People on the board have complained obout this in the past both on the board and in emails to me and I always deffended the office but I have nothing to do with them. You need to consider this before you go for your second procedure. If it were me, I would follow Dr. Kole to the new office. I know I will take heat for that statement but that is how I feel. kp

Hummmmmmmmm I am not so sure I would let a NON plastic surgeon do my tt. I opted to have Dr DiNick, who I heard about at a Cori Weight Loss Support group meeting do my tt. I wanted perfection..not just the tummy tucked in. That is just my two cents.
