Hello everyone. God bless you for being out there to encourage and support each other. I just had my lap band surgery on 3/28/06 and am at home working on healing. I just wanted to stop in and say HI! Any suggestions for someone very new to all of this? So far, so good. I am having no problems getting in my protein shakes and my water, so if I can win the battle of the head, I think this could be a very very positive experience. Looking to lose 131 lbs to reach my goal. Thanks for your love and support. Will LeRoy, MI.

Hi Will Welcome to our big happy family!! Come here anytime you need anything, the people on this board are wonderful. I'm not so sure what you're supposed to be doing, i'm not too familiar with the lap band. But i will tell you this, it takes time to learn how to get in the protein and water. It took me a few months to get it down. i always make sure i get so much by noon, then again by six, and then by bedtime. I used to set my alarm clock to tell me when to eat even. So just do your best and you'll get the hang of it. Hugs Linda
