1. What are your plans for the summer?
Working, then July 5-15 I will be at home, my Father's Memorial Service is on July 8th, (he passed 2/15/06 of cancer) and I also am planning a short trip late summer to see relatives in North Carolina.
2. What are your fondest childhood memories? Fishing on Little Abitibi lake in Ontario, Canada, with my family, where we caught Walleye, then would fry them over an open fire in cast iron skillets along with french fries and onions and baked beans. We would fly in on a beaver plane and be dropped off for 4 days, with NO form of communication or way out. No cell phones, no electricity, but it was very memorable to say the least.
3. Do you know anyone famous? Ha. I worked in professional radio for 25 years and TV for 25 years along side. I'll start with TV People I have met:
Johnny Depp, Jenny Garth (from BH 90210) - clue- I worked for FOX.
I interviewed Marilyn Quayle, wife of former Vice President of The United States of America: Dan Quayle in 1993. (For a radio news job)
Radio: Richard Marx, (meeting him was the pinnacle of my radio career and my best friend and I literally spent an entire afternoon with him, his road manager, 1 of his 3 sons, his band and was treated like royalty at his performance in Muskegon), Billy Dean, Bryan White, Reba, Tim McGraw, Kathy Mattea, Confederate Railroad, Leroy Parnell, Ty Herndon, Steven Tyler, John & Audrey Wiggins, Colin Raye, Russ Taff, Chely Wright, and there are probably more but I can't remember right now.
4. What instrument did you play/want to play?
I presently play the flute, and am working my way into the Mid Michigan Concert Band hopefully by the end of this fall.
I played piano when I was younger. Meaning under 10 years old. That's way younger!!!
5. What litle known fact would surprise people about you if they knew it?
That I was born with deformed feet and wore braces until I was about 9 months old to correct the problem, which eventually caused more damage than good. I think my Mom was nieve and should have sued the doctors - but back then you didn't do such a thing.
1. summer plans are to walk every morning rain or shine as well as taking the motorcycles to the U.P. for 2 weeks.
2.my fondest childhood memories are the times I spent with my grandpa. We walked to the corner store every night. He was my hero.

4.
1. My plans for the summer include camping, a trip up to my parents cottage for 4th of July like usual. And in October we are taking our big tript to Florida to visit WDW. I had originally had this scheduled for 2-05 but I decided to have surgery instead so I am really excited about this trip.
2. I have a lot of different memories but I loved spending time with one of my favorite Uncles. He always made me feel so loved. I had a rough childhood so this was a hard one.
3. I went to school with Jalen Rose who plays in the NBA. I played basketball with him and Chris Weber at my school since I was on the girls team. Plus I know KP. I am going to be famous since I did a commerical for Hendrick that should start airing soon.
4. I played violin for years in school. I always wanted to play clarinet, and the piano.
5. I seem really rough around the edges but I am very fragile inside.
First of all what does "fcp" stand for? Or shouldn't I ask?
1. Chicago, Marshall for a car show and lots of crusin' and BBQ's.
2. Vacations with my family to Houghton Lake every summer.
3. I used to be in advertising so its mostly local personalities that I have met. The nicest were Eric Smith and Diana Lewis.
4. I have always wanted to learn guitar or piano.
5. Hmmmmm....I'm pretty open so if you know me you know alot about me, I guess I would have to say that my parents died when I was a teenager, as a result I got to be pretty messed up. But I'm all better now, I think!
This is my first 5 for 5...lol...how fun! Anyways...
1. What are your plans for the summer? Lots of swimming, camping, sunning, and funning. Maybe this year I'll have time to get back into co-ed softball, etc. Nothing special...just enjoying life.
2. What are your fondest childhood memories? Most of them are with my dad. We used to have these matching tiger-striped robes that we would wear around the house together. (Looking back at pictures, I realize now that they were HIDEOUS!) And I remember that he used to swing me around in a clothes basket which was cool. As I got older, we were always outside throwing a ball around, or shooting marbles, or going for walks. He lives in AZ now and I really miss him.
3. Do you know anyone famous? Nope. And I'm alright with that.
4. What instrument did you play/want to play? I used to play the flute, saxaphone and piano. I'm not sure if I'd remember the fingering anymore or not...lol. Per my request, DH somewhat recently bought me a bass guitar. Poor Gertie is just sitting and collecting dust right now. I would like to take some time to learn how to play her.
5. What litle known fact would surprise people about you if they knew it?
Hmm...I'm not sure. I guess one thing that we don't really talk about here would be that I'm very interested in all aspects of holistic healing. I am a teaching Reiki Master and am D.B.A. Vibrant Essence. I hope to incorporate soon. Also, I am trying to expand into other modalities and will be taking a reflexology course beginning in May. How's that?
1. What are your plans for the summer?
- Going to see my daughter in CA at the end of May...no other plans YET!
2. What are your fondest childhood memories?
- Camping all over MI and IN with my family...great times!
3. Do you know anyone famous?
- I met Ted Nugent when I worked at Bear Archery in Grayling, Mmmmm....Former Gov. Engler, when he was in office.
4. What instrument did you play/want to play?
- I play the guitar. I'm a singer, so I guess that is my "instrument". Wish I could play piano fluently....I just hunt and peck.
5. What little known fact would surprise people about you if they knew it?
- Maybe that I played in a working band in clubs for 22 years? (Singer)
