I am having surgery with Dr. Wood at Cori in Warren. Are you saying that Cori is not a good place? I have heard others say the same and it is making me nervous. But I am very comfortable with Dr. Wood being my surgeon. Unfortunately Cori is the center that works with him. What should I do??? Janet

I not only was a CORI patient I was a strong advocate of their program. I had no problems during the process. But all those staff members are gone. Two of the surgeons on staff there when I started have also left. One of them is my surgeon. I firmly believe the doctors at CORI know their stuff. In fact Dr. Kole was in on my last surgery and fixed me up when I was having complications. As stated in a different post, you will be in good hands with Dr. Wood. However, I can't vouch for the staff. The experience I have had as of late leaves me wondering why when a person is hired (again) staff members walk out. I would be completely comfortable with Dr. Wood and Dr. Kole and Dr. Taylor but I would not rely on the management for anything. kp

I did medical billing for years for a hospital and their associated physician offices. I don't remember anybody ever getting charged for their records. But then that was in a little podunk town in Virginia... God knows things are done differently in Michigan! Where else can you find 28 different kinds of chap stick on the toiletries aisle at the grocery store? Nice to meet y'all btw... *S* B
