flunked the psyche evaluation!!!

Hi Linda,
For my first eval, when they thought I was going through Hurley to have it done, they sent me to Dr Williams in Swartz Creek. He is ok but his office girls take thier sweet time getting around to do ANYTHING!
This last one I went to was at Oakland Pschylogical(?) Clinic on Linden Rd between Corunna & Lennon. His name is Dr Tinguay? I am not sure how its spelled.
He does regular evals for the weight loss places. I have BCN so thats where they sent me. They also have an office in Grand Blanc someplace.
Hope it helps. lol Speaking of evals, the first eval I had showed I had NO personality!! LMAO now just what the heck does THAT mean!
I answered truthfully. Guess it doesnt pay to tell the truth. No, I told the truth on the last one too and I guess I passed, no ones told me any different. Hope this helps you.
Take care

Sorry to hear your failed... Believe me I've been there. I couldn't beleive it when the doctor told me I failed and needed 3 months therapy before the insurance company would approve me. He thought I was to obsessed with physical appearance and didn't think I could handle everything. Well needless to say, I did my three months and some and last December I had my surgery! And after it was all over I was glad I did do the therapy. Don't worry you'll get there too.
I obsessed about the psych eval...and, once again, I was right to do so. The lovely, ahem, gentleman and I didn't hit it off right from the git go. I quit smoking in February and at my eval (March 14) the first thing he asked was did I quit? Yes. His reply, I can smell smoke. Well, to say the least that set the tone, and it didn't improve.
He decided I was depressed and I had to be on an antidepressant and be compliant for 4-6 months. My pcp says if I show that I'm taking the drug and being compliant I can still have the surgery as soon as Harper is cleared.
But that wasn't all. Learn more about the procedure was another one of his suggestions...like I haven't read bushels of info already; remain smoke free (grrrrrrrrrrrrr) AND don't gain weight. Take an antidepressant which stimulates the appetite, frustrate the s**t out of me and expect me not to gain weight? Obviously this guy doesn't quite get the picture of a morbid obese patient's life style!!
Well, I'm on anitdepressants, I'm not smoking and I'm too frustrated to even think about eating.
Guess he made his point. Especially when his parting shot was: "Nurses are the worse patients."
For the love of God don't tell your evaluator if you're a nurse, and don't ride in a car with a smoker.
Good advice....take it from someone who knows!!
Good night and Good Luck.
