Recommendation Please

Could someone recommend a good psychologist/psycharist in the Macomb County area that has experience in WLS and depression, that can also prescribe medication. I have looked on this board for listings under these two headings, but the pickings are very slim or not anywhere near me. Thanks!!

I went to a guy on 16 mile and garfield. But they have other people there. They were great. The number is 586*226*2163 name is ASSOCIATES in PSYCHIATRY.

Rhonda, While checking into the psychologist you might want to call your insurance company, many deligate certain tests that need to be done, for example a MMPI I and MMPI II, not all psychologist administer them. Good Luck. Sandy B

Rhonda, I went to Dr. Daniel Altier in Clinton Township. He actually did my phys evaluation for CORI and he was very helpful. I live at 22 Mile Road and Hayes and he was at 16 Mile and Harper. His number is (586) 791-6060. He suggested that I go on a prescription but he couldn't prescribe it so I made an appointment with my regular doctor and told her he suggested it and I was placed on Wellbutrin. Let me know if you have any other questions. I really don't know what I would have done with him and the wellbutrin while I went through my surgery in December. Take Care.
