I was like that when I came home to because of the fluids they were giving me in the hospital. Glad to see you on the losing side. Welcome aboard. Suzanne 300/150

I am glad that you are posting so soon after surgery. Don't worry about the weight gain or loss this soon out. I remember my stomach was so much larger after surgery but was not concerned. I wish you much success with your journey. Take care, Janice

thanks everyone for all the kind words and support, I am sure I will grow to need it more and more as I start this journey. Today makes me 4 days post op and for all of you up and coming every day gets a little better, I am still pretty sore but I need less rest than yesterday. I drinking only water and minute made light rasberry passion, they gave it ti me in the hospital and I love it. I don't know if this is usual but it is whats happeneing with me.. I don't feel like I am starving but sometimes I do feel hungry but I drink a little and it passes. I go for my post op next wednesday and maybe Dr Kole will put me on full liquids. The post- op experience was good at harper but pre-op was not good. I had to be there at 4:30 a.m we arrived at 4:00 but weren't allowed to register untill 4:35 I was the first one there they told me I was on the roster but not in the system, and the people that handle this would be in at 6:00a.m Mind you that my pre- testing was at sopossed to be at 4;30 and surgury at 6:30 so I wasn't happy and it only got worse from there.I check with the desk many time only to be told that they are working on it (no food, liquids or sleep since 10:00p.m the nite before I wasn't a happy camper nor was my poor husband). Finally around they call me back for my testing and say that my surgeon was wating for me and they wanted to rush me thru.. Everything was chaos for about 20 min.. then they called back my husband and I laid ther for and hubby sat there for about 45 min (seemed like forever) and dr Kole came and said we are ready in a few min and told me the hold up was also a problem with my insurence ( now they tell me) boom shot in the vircet sp? and off I went I remeber them strapping domw my arms and someone intrducing themselves and then they said we are going to give you some air and the next I know they are waking me up and asking me to scoot over to another bed and they wisked me to my room. I don't even remember post op at all.. Hubby said operation took 2 hours and they called and said I was fine but I had to go to post-op for 2 hours and then I went to my room.. I know this is long and dragged out but may help some people with future dates.. sorry if I have any bad spelling I don't fell like proof reading it. please feel free to email me if anyone feels like it...I'll update soon
