Heart beating harder since surgery

My surgery was on March 22, so I am 3 days out. My heart has been beating very hard since the night I came home from surgery. Its more annoying than anything. Doesn't hurt or anything, but I was wondering if anyone else has had symptoms like this?

I would call your doctor. It may just be that you are more aware of it, but he should know that you are experiencing a change in your heartbeat. Definitely put a call into him.

Hi there, I'm not a Dr or anything, but I am a nurse. I'd call your doc or go to the er immediately. If you have an electrolyte imbalance, ie: dehydration, it can cause an irregular heartbeat, which is very serious, dont want to scare you or anything, but please go and get checked out. Von
