I Got My DATE!

I am so nervous, happy, excited... scared to death! I got my DATE for WLS. First my pre-op testing is on April 3rd... and my WLS is on April 26th! I could have had my surgury the week after the pre-op testing... but I am going to be on vacation the 15th - 22nd... so - that won't work! I could not wait for this news to arrive, and now that it is here... I am playing mind games with myself... second guessing, worry... fear. I have always struggled with fear (in many forms)... but I am not going to turn my back on this. I know it is the only option for me, and the best choice. I must get very serious now about my food intake - as some weight loss is expected before my surgury. I am so glad I have this forum. I don't know what or how I would make it through this without you all. xxxx

LimeAndAqua, Congratulations on your date. All of those emotions are completely normal as far as I can remember. At least you will be well rested when you get back from vacation. So enjoy yourself, even though you will be on your liquid diet. It still can be done even on vacation. I have to agree with you about this forum is the very best.
