Barix Hospital Ypsilanti Hotels

Hi, Has anyone had surgery at Barix in Ypsialnti? Any good hotels anyone can recommend? Thanks my surgery is May 16.

I had my surgery on the 16th of Dec.. I cant remember the hospital name but if you call the ypsi hosp they will tell you the best one to go to and they give you a discount if you tell them you are having surgery.. It was a very nice hotel... (((HUGS))) Dori

What I was told from an online friend: Special arrangements with FAIRFEILD in ANN ARBOR and is regular 104 us dollars a night but if you are or know a pateint from barix then it is 69US a night the hotel is luxury and pool and breakfast for free. It is 15-20 minutes away from the hospital. I've looked and looked for hotels in Ypsilanti. There is only really nice one (a golf related one) but it is major expensive. I've heard a mix of things about the others. The area is not the best area. Stef

This one is not the best, but it did the trick for us, it was about 2 blocks away from the hospital & $90 for 2 night stay. Hubby was not impressed but he did say that it did what we needed it to, provided shelter. Hubby also said it made him feel better to be right around the corner. It was called Harmony House Motel right across from the McDonalds by the Barix clinic. If you want more info...email me. I will give you more. Cost wise, this was the cheapest.

Thank you for all your help, my surgery is May 16 and I live on the West side of Michigan so I knew that my husband would need to get a hotel.
