Owosso Support Meeting March 21

Hello, I suppose that the powers that be don't think it necessary for support eetings to be held when advertised in the flyer from Hurley. My friend and I went tonight, guess what no body showed up. At first I thought I had the wrong date, but noooo, 2 other ladies showed up for the meeting. One drove from Mt Morris. Almost a day trip I felt so bad for her. All 4 of us were first timers and were rather dissapointed in the venture. Any one out there able to tell me when the next meeting at the Thec Center in Flint will be. Guess I'll give that one a shot next. Thanks to all of you. Owosso, if any one could give an explanation for tonite it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again Carol

Hi Carol, I don't have any idea why the Owosso meeting wasn't held, I stopped going to that one. Are you having your surgery through Hurley? I know alot of people who have had it there and are very pleased with the results. I tried having mine there but they refused to do mine at my pre-op appt, talk about getting the wind knocked out of ya! I finally got mine done though CORI Center in Warren, had the surgery at Harper Hosp in Detroit. My Dr has since left CORI and has a practice with another CORI doctor, they operate through St Johs Riverview Hospital, wayyyyyyyyyyyy downtown!! lol I just wanted to say hi and welcome to the OH board. Hi DE, I have had my surgery on 11-15-05. As of today I have lost 80 lbs. My friend that went to the meeting with me tonight is 12 YEARS out. We were oth so disappointed tonight. Had my surgery at Hurley. Dr Wagner is my surgeon.Was very satisfied with my surgeon. Hurley and I have a history, my oldest DD almost died from staph infection there about 5 years ago. I really didn't want to use the hospital, but because of DH health and age.Very bad heart. I wanted to stayy as close to home as possible. Thanks for you reply Carol

The Owosso support meeting is on the last Wednesday of every month. ALL but this month it's on the last Thursday March 30 at 7:00 pm 1480 N. M-52, Owosso
