Good Morning! I am wondering if anyone else has had this occur and what your outcome has been. Over the weekend I had a very surprising visit from Mr. Heartburn! I was totally taken by surprise. I have an appointment scheduled with Dr. Hendrick on April 13, just wondering now if I should get in sooner. From all the literature I have read, this should not happen again. Please let me know if you had this return and what your doctor said. Thanks for your help and everyone have a glorious day! Peace- Judy

Actually my doctor told me that this is quite normal and actually put me on hearburn medication right from a week after my surgery. I also carry tums with me for when it hits me, which it does about once a week. I've had one or two times when it hit me BAD!! I felt like I was breathing fire - these happened when I ate something that was too greasy for my pouch. Jeani V

Judy, My docter has me on 40mg nexium one a day. And I didnt even know it was heartburn. My pouch just had this horrible pain. And once he put me on the nexium no more pain. Claudia
