I am currently awaiting my PCP to get my paperwork to Liv-Lite and for them to send my information to BCBS for approval. Therefore, I am diligently attempting to increase the amount of water I drink on a daily basis and avoid pop. For some reason my taste buds have never really like just any water, except for Sam's Club and Aquafina. It has to be water that is filtered with reverse osmosis. Anyways, I am having difficulties drinking 2 bottles of water at work. While at Walmart on my lunch one day I discovered Aquafina FlavorSplash - GRAPE. I thought it sounded good so got two bottles (20 oz). I drank both of them down in less than 3 hours!! I could not believe it! My question is this - I see on posts and profiles alot the Propel Fitness water. Is the Aquafina FlavorSplash okay for after surgery? If so, I think I need to buy stock in the Grape flavor! Thanks for your input. Michelle

aquafina is fine after surgery, actually it is probably be better for you than the propel. If you go by the label propel has 2 gr of sugar per serving and aquafina has zero. I actually took aquafina to the hospital with me when I had my surgery. I love aquafina flavorsplash. I just wish I could find it in bulk, but I didnt see it at costco.

Michelle - WalMart also sells those "to go sticks" in both Crystal Light brand and walmart brand. I open a 20 oz bottle of water and dump a stick in. Instant flavor for me. Just don't buy too much of one kind cuz you may find that after surgery you can't stand the taste of it anymore. Hugs, Laurie

I'm sure the Aquafina FlavorSplash will be fine post-op. Read the label, as long as it has 5 gr. or less of sugar you should be fine. Personally I never have anything with more than 3 gr. of sugar, but that's me, other people have no problem with more. Propell is good it has added vitamins and tastes good too. My nutritionist recomended propell when I had a stricture. I also use the to go packet's when I get tired of plain 'ole water. Hope this helps. God bless you, Annette

I love the Propel but I plan to try the Aquafina also. Wal-Mart has the to go packs of something similar to Propel. Its called Fulfil, and you put it in a 16.9 oz bottle of water. It remains clear ahd has no aftertaste, pack of 10 is $2.79. The flavors are black cherry, lemon, berry, strawbeery kiwi and I think one more. ( I posted about it a few days ago) Diva

Another option to try is the Powerade Option. It is lower in sugar and calories. It has awesome flavor also. I have found my favorite bottled water is from wal-mart, the sam's choice water. I am not a fan of Aquafina. Blah!!! lol... Heather

I prefer the Propel especially ice cold. For some reason AquaFina makes me violently ill so I definitely have to stay away from that. I also cannot drink (or make ice) from my city water...it just doesn't settle well at all!

I swear by Propel. I also have used the Crystal light packs but they are to sweet for me. I love the Propel berry and have spent a lot of money since my surgery buying this water. The best price I have found is at Meijers for 1.00 for the big bottles with the twist off cap. The other flavored waters by Dasani or Aquafina just dont taste that well to me. After surgery your taste buds will change a bit. Suzanne 300/150

It is true that if you buy alot of this you may not want it after surgery. I did the same thing and did not like the flavored water after surgery for quite awhile. My kids ended up drinking very expensive water! I find that hot decaf tea and herbal teas like blueberry go down really well. I don't like plain water too much either. I also drink a lot of the Tropicana sugar free punches and Orangeade. The Orangeade is expecially good. But the tea really goes down well. I add a little splenda and it is very pleasant. Especially while it is still cold outside. Wendy

I haven't seen any votes for the Nestle Splash yet so I thougt I'd get mine in. I really love that stuff. Propel was good before surgery but makes me sick now. And I don't like the Aquafina post surgery either. Target's Archer Farms line of flavored splenda waters i**** or miss for me. Loving the crystal light flavor sticks - very handy. No matter where you are, you can get bottled water. And I've tried, tried, tried to like the Isopure at GNC but I can't make myself. It's all trial and error - so don't buy too much of any one thing. (As seen in my protein closet full of some 12 pounds of proteins I don't like anymore.) Best, Michele P
