Facial Hair After WLS

I was reading on the main boards and read something about facial hair coming in or getting worse after WLS, has anyone ever experienced this? What actually occurs? Do you grow facial hair or does it come in dark or what other info is there on this? Does it vary by person. God I would hate to have more hair in one place, and not enough where it actually belongs.

Melissa, I've had "extra" facial hair for a number of years now. I am a little over 5 months post op now and I actually experienced a decrease in my facial hair since my surgery. Jeani V

I don't know how old you are, but when you start the pre menopausal cycle, that causes facial hair in women. Janice
