Things Not In Your WLS binder...

I just found out something that is not in my WLS binder. You see, for the last few months, I've been dealing with a clogged right ear. I tried blowing my nose or anything that would pop my ears - sometimes it worked, most of the time it didn't. There wasn't a specific time that it would happen, but it was bothersome. It was more like a muffling of one ear. Thinking I had enough wax in my ear to open a museum, I made an appointment with an ENT doctor. Now I told him that I had had the surgery, but that I had also had surgery 16 years ago to have a tumor removed off my brain (it affected my balance and cooridination, but didn't think it had anything to do with my current problem). Guess what?? He didn't find a damn thing!! It seems that my rapid weight loss most likely had something to do with it. He wants me to keep an eye (er, ear) on this and if it should happen again in the next few months, I am to call the office and just tell them the doctor wants me to come in (now) to do a hearing test. I don't think this issue has ever been addressed since I have been on the board. Has anyone else had this or similar problems

I only had this once and it lasted for about 4 days. I ended up using an at home wax remover and it helped a little bit. It went away after that but it was never a persistant problem at all. That is weird to think that something like that can be attributed to our weight loss. Suzanne 300/150
