Home From Abdominoplasty

Hello Michigan Family I just wanted you all to know I am home from my abdominoplasty. Oh My God what a difference. I have such a small waiste now. I never imagined that it could be so nice to be this thin. I am finally seeing the person who was burried so deep in a pool of fat. I like her and the best is definately yet to come. Thank you for your prayers and support. I could not have done any of this with out you.. Love to all and continured sucess where you are in the journey... Rae

Thanks Dori for the comment.. I am so happy and excited about this I cant stand myself. I never thought that less than a year post op Gastric Bypass I would be having the finishing touch to my abdomen. It looks just great and it is a nice taperd waste line...My doc had exceeded my expectrations... Rae

Annette I feel great...I am in some discomfort but only when i have to get up and walk. IT is so tight I can feel the pull in my mid section. But there is very little pain elsewhere I am so happy That I had this done....summer is around the corner and new and brighter days are ahead for me. There are people on other boards who are trying to steal my joy in this and I will not allow it. Thanks for your post.... Rae

Suzanne WHen are you planning on going through with this? You will be so glad you did. THere is nothing else like it in the world to know you are free from the very thing that has kept you captive for all these years. I am free now. Theresa You are so right...I sit here and look at this pic of my just 1 hour post op and think that just hours before i was in a body of bondage. Now I look down and things are so much different and I am very happy with the results. I know there is swelling and redness, but that will go away,..i can see the definition in my tummy my waist is so much different now. I cant wait...summer is coming and there will be so much more I can do to aid myself to a better body even with this done... I am thrilled to have had this done so fast.....just 11 monhts ago, i was in so much pain from even walking. Look at me today,,,,170 lbs lighter..who knew? Love Rae

Rae~ CONGRATULATIONS!!!! How awesome, I am so happy for you!!! Who did your surgery? Where did you have it done at? Fremont is not that far from me. I had my surgery 3/23/05 and I am at goal but I am having a hard time finding a doctor that will operate this soon after surgery... most want me to wait until I am a year out and then maintain for a few months.
