Approval maybe sooner than I thought!

I just got a call from "Barix" - and they wanted to know if I got the information they requested ... and the results. I have the letter from my two doctors saying I have been on a supervised diet program for over 12 months - and have been treated for obesity, and other things.... Also, my Psych Eval is completed - and I passed (The psychologist will fax results tomorrow) - and the two actual "Referrals" from my doctors - requesting the Baratric Surgery. When I read the information to them over the phone - they said - "Send it" (and I will PRIORITY tomorrow) and they will review it there! They have their own REVIEW BOARD. I thought that it had to "Go Out" for some approval - but I guess it is different with my BC/BS now. I asked her how long before I would know something... and she said they would have an answer 24-48 hours AFTER THE REVIEW! OMG. I am on the edge right now! All I know is that I have GOT to start my Pre-Op Diet! I was suppose to lose 10 lbs before surgery date... if I want the Laparosocopic done.... Now I have to figure out what diet to do to drop the weight. I am so excited. I hope there will be no glitches! Pray for my approval!

Wow, you must be so excited! Find some protein you like and start using it. eat sensibly, protein first, then veggies and fruits and carbs and fats last.....try to not eat so much carbs and fats. Get out and walk, walk and walk, and take vitamins. This will all help to get you ready for surgery and recovery. Most of all, stay away from fast foods and pop, it will only hurt you.
