Plastic surgeons??

Hey everyone hope all is well, I havent been on here or even lurking very much lately but still think of you all often. I cant believe all the new people out here, welcome to a great messageboard. I have been doing very well with my weightloss. I am just 3 days shy of my 6 month anniversary and am down 122.00 lbs. I am Ecstatic to say the least. I am soooo happy with my health now. I feel better than I did 20 years ago, and I am 42 yrs old . If you are thinking about this surgery, Just Do It!!!! I wish I had done it 10 years sooner. I am starting to look for a plastic surgeon in my area, that works out of either Troy or Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital. I will probably need a total body lift, as I have a Whole lot of hanging skin. I am not looking to have surgery until beginning of next year, I would still like to lose another 50-75 lbs prior to Plastic surgery. If anyone has had P.S. and would be willing to share info and before and after pictures I would greatly appreciate it. So any recommendations of surgeons would be great. Lynn, Keep Dr. Hing in mind. He is in Ann Arbor at St. Joe Hospital. He and his staff are just great. I have a very tiny waist and belly now, he did an excellent job. But more impressive was the infection I got a few weeks after surgery....he stayed on top of it. I just wish I could find a family doctor this great. Good luck on your decision. Donna

Lynn, Congrats on your weight loss! My PS is Dr. Pravin Puri, Somerset Plastic Surgery. He's located in Troy right by Somerset Mall. I have nothing but good things to say about him & his staff. He works out of Troy Beaumont. He has a very gentle bedside manner & explains things very well. He performed an extended TT & arm lift on me this past December. I go next week for a thigh lift & lipo. I'm more than thrilled with the results. I have before & after pics but I need to post them somewhere! If you'd like contact info, please let me know! Dr. Ellen Janetzke did my surgeries. She uses Beaumont Hospital. I've had a tummy tuck, arms, lower lift with inner thighs and a breast lift. She is amazing and does great work. Her staff is wonderful, too. Fran

My mom works for Dr Ellen in her spa, and she has nothing but wonderful things to say about her work. I will most definately be using her if/when the time ever comes!
