WOW....

Hi Everyone, Remember me? Long time no post...long time no lurk for that matter. I put WOW in the subject line cuz there were only a few names I recognized. Well, here's my update... I've lost 186 pounds to date, but I am still swollen from my lower body lift 3 weeks ago!!! So I'm sure once I get these drains out and the swelling goes down I'll add a few more pounds to that weight loss total. Hard to believe. My brother and I said we would consider my weight loss successful if I got under 200 pounds. So when I did that, I set a new goal for myself. To weigh 154, because at that weight my BMI would be 24.9 and I would no longer be considered overweight! Well as of this writing, I weight 152!!!!!!!!!!!! This is less than I have ever weighed as an adult. So, now I am shooting for 14 more pounds to make it an even 200 pound loss. Of course, if I don't ever make that goal, I will still be excessively happy with the success so far. And with this lower body lift, I now have a flat tummy (for the first time ever) and a lifted butt! Look out swimsuit season. Another good piece of info is my new BOYFRIEND!!!! Yes I said boyfriend. He is awesome. A girl I work with set us up at her Christmas party. He is her brother. He used to be a nurse for 20 years and did dialysis for 9 years. Those of you who know me, know I am also a dialysis nurse. Well, he wanted bigger and better things for himself so he went back to school. He graduated last August from PA school (Physician's assitant). He treats me better than my ex-fiance ever did and for that matter better than any boyfriend I've ever had. Each month we're together, he brings me flowers. One rose for one month, two roses for two months, 3 roses for 3 months (March 10) so next month will be 4! He is such a romantic dork, BUT I LOVE IT!! We have tons in common. Ok, I could go on and on and on about him, so I'll stop now... Just wanted to stop in and say hello! Hope all of you are well!!!! Love ya, Mary p.s. HI MARY!!! Gosh, haven't heard from you in ages! Yes, there are ALOT of new people on the Board, all of them just as nice as all of us "oldies"! Sounds like you are doing wonderfully!! So nice to hear! Congrats on the new boyfriend too...he sounds like a keeper! Your pic right now looks fabulous, so if you have one that even looks better, that will be amazing!
