What did you do this weekend???
I had such a great weekend. We went rollerblading at Kent lake, and walked the nature trails. It was great! I haven't been able to walk the trails in a couple of years. The swan's were nesting. We got to see one lay her eggs. There was another swan couple building their nest. It was amazing to watch them working together. The Gobi's(sp?) would perch right on our hands to eat seed. They like walnut's better than seed. I saw a grey squirrel for the first time in my life. Maybe it was just getting old. We also saw a squirrel that was grey and red~awesome! We took the "long" trail. It didn't seem that long to me. It was only 2 1/4 miles. There was a part where we came to this rather steep hill, I didn't think I would be able to make it to the top without stopping, but I did and I wasn't even out of breath. It was funny because I climbed up the hill and was standing next to my daughter looking over the lookout thing(don't know what it's called) when she said ok where's mom and started walking back to the hill. She was surprised that I was standing right beside her. I Am so happy to be living again, instead of just existing!
May God bless you all

Look at the beautiful picture of you up there finally! Saturday my husband and I worked bus ministry at church and yesterday we went to my oldest daughter's to hang out all day. My youngest is home from college on spring break with her boyfriend for a week and we just had family day all day. My favorite thing to do! It was especially cool to get on the floor with my granddaughter and play tea party. Could not do that a year ago. I know where your coming from!
Hi Michelle,
Wow, when did that happen? I didn't know my pic was up until I read your reply in my E-mail. I had to come look. I saw they put them on my profile too. It's time to put up a new one already. My hair is short and curly now. I didn't get it cut, just let it go natural.
It's cool that you worked the bus ministry then got to hang out with your kids for the weekend. Isn't it great how much we can do now, that we couldn't do such a short time ago!
God bless you Michelle,
Annette
Don't you love it Annette???? ONLY 2.25 miles! Who would have thought that we'd say things like that?!?!?
Things were busy in our house this weekend! My DH had a men's prayer meeting with the pastor and my third son and I had an eye exam during the same time frame so I drug 5 kids to Rx Optical. The look on the poor receptionists face when I came in with 3 pre-schoolers and a toddler.....
From there, I took the kids home, fed them, put them down for a nap, ran my daughter to choir and picked up a friends computer to fix. My DH and I then went to lunch (YEA PRIVATE TIME ). We picked up our daughter from choir and the three of us went to a home expo show. Sunday my DH and I worked in our church nursery and had a leadership meeting with our paster following which I detailed my van while my DH did some housework for me. Thinking about it just makes me tired!

Hi Sheryl,
Sounds like you had a very busy weekend. I would have liked to see the look on the receptionists face when you came in. Must have been too funny. How's you new little one doing? I've been thinking about you a lot lately. I hope all is well. How nice that you and hubby got a little bit of alone time. I bet that doesn't happen to often. LOL. Take care Sheryl.
God bless you,
Annette
Annette: Didn't do alot this weekend, but did set up the restaurant for the get together next Saturday and had lunch there, too! It was a beautiful day, so I did a few errands and tried to stay outside a lot. Yesterday I stayed home and vegged out! Man, you look so CUTE in the picture. I am so happy you are feeling good and getting out and having fun! You so deserve all the good that life can give. Take care, sweetie! Love, Pam
