I have been on clear liquids since my surgery (3-6-06), so it is day 5 and I have lost 12 pounds in the last 3 days . I am just glad that I am at the end of clear liquids! I feel like if I have to look at another popsicle, I am going to puke . I just have to make it through tomorrow and then on Monday, I can finally have ff sf pudding, I bought chocolate, butterscotch, and cheesecake flavors. Is there anything else that was satifying to the taste buds on the full liquid stage? I am so getting tired of the smells in the house when my husband makes dinner or watching him eat his little debbie snack cakes. I just keep telling myself that ther is a little light at the end of the tunnel when I get to be able to have regular stuff, mabye not the same stuff as he gets to have, but one day I will be able to chew again. I am not really hungry or anything, I just miss the taste of things. I get full very easily, just off water. I am sure that I will be able to stay within the serving sizes. I will just remind myself of these early stages that I have to go through and then I will realize how lucky I am to have anything that I can taste.

oh i remember the clear liquids, i was so happy to have fudgesicles and pudding. But i didn't like most puddings, i don't know why....the one i love is the hunts no sugar added chocolate pudding. To me it tastes just like regular pudding....don't worry, it'll be no time til you can have everything again, just be patient and let your little pouch heal. Hugs Linda

When I make my pudding I add some protein powder to it to so it has more protein to it. Also sf ff jello is a big hit with me. Each little cup takes me 45 minutes to eat it because I put it in the little medicine cups but it is something different.
